Charlie Chaplin once said: “All I need to make a comedy is a park, a policeman and a pretty girl”. This industrial collection is dedicated to filmmaking of those frenetic and unforgettable times, to the comedies of The Little Tramp and Our Gang. Those were modern times, when imagination built the magic of cinema in its early days, movie after movie, comedy after comedy. Films and hand-held cameras returned unsharp and sepia-colored images, which however did not stop the audience from crowding the halls regardless of hard wooden chairs, to widen their eyes in front of the magic of silent screen.
